Global March To Gaza

GLOBAL MARCH TO GAZA: From EL-ARISH to RAFAH

An apolitical and peaceful march supported by numerous NGOs, organized by citizens from all around the world, bringing together over 30 delegations from different countries will take place. Its name, "Global March to Gaza", a movement aiming to negotiate the opening of a humanitarian corridor.

"We are headed to Gaza: By Land, Sea, and Air" this march is the confluence of

different international initiatives. The Land Convoy to Break the Gaza Blockade - Sumud, the Global March To Gaza and the Freedom Flotilla Coalition

Date and place: June the 12th, 2025 in Cairo, from where participants will travel by vehicle to the official start of the March in El-Arich, and ending at Egypt's Rafah borders with Gaza after 3 days, the 15. Total duration of the stay: participants can expect to stay between 8 to 10 days.

Context: The people of Gaza are the victims of a genocide committed by the Israeli army in defiance of international law. Massive and incessant bombardments, evacuation orders and forced displacement of civilians, water, food and power cuts, epidemics and spread of disease, children suffering from acute malnutrition, massacres of entire families, all condemn the Gazans to extermination and constitute acts covered by the Genocide Convention (CPPCG).

Faced with governments' inaction and failure in their responsibility, it is our duty as citizens to act. Our aim, delivering humanitarian aid while maintaining a strong civilian presence, in order to create international moral and media pressure.

The Global March to Gaza group would like to invite journalists to join the march and cover the event. Broad media coverage is needed to bring this initiative to light.
